Happy New Year!

To all the readers of THE GOODS, Happy 2011!  2010 was an interesting year, to say the least.  Let's hope that this year brings health and happiness to you and your loved ones!

And a few other things...

May Restoration Hardware do away with their Gallery-styled stores (ugh! I can't find a thing anymore), the airlines reduce their already outrageous fees and everyone gets in the kitchen to learn something new, at least once! 

My fingers are crossed that our fairy rings disappear as mysteriously as they appeared in 2010, I learn to communicate with the wildlife around our house and save our cherry harvest this summer and may the mosquitoes find haven in Winnipeg, not Edmonton!

Here is to a warmer winter (thank you climate change) and hopefully a long summer!  May my husband start his retirement knee-deep in gardening and renovation projects and my daughter finish school with confidence and continue to be the bright star in our life.

Wherever you are and whatever your hopes for this year, a positive outlook is a great place to start and your determination and actions will make them a reality!
